Midsize Frog Hook Urchin Rig 2pk

Small Profile. Serious Bite.

The Walker's Tackle Midsize Frog Hook Urchin Rig is handcrafted in the heart of Middle Georgia for anglers dialing in the finesse Urchin game. Built on a short shank 4/0 frog hook, this rig is purpose-built for smaller Urchin-style baits — delivering the perfect balance of hook gap, weight, and presentation for baits in the 17mm–19mm size category.

A split ring and dropshot weight are positioned along the shank of the hook to add the necessary weight for casting and depth control, all without compromising the bait's natural action. The result is a compact, perfectly weighted rig that fishes small Urchin baits exactly the way they were designed to be fished.

Recommended Bait Pairings:

• Hideup Coike 17mm
• Prickly Pear 19mm
• Other Urchin-style baits in the 17mm–19mm size range

⚠️ Not recommended for larger Urchin options (20mm+) such as the Hideup Coike Fullcast or Prickly Pear Big Tex — see our larger Frog Hook Urchin Rig for those applications.
