Fullsize Frog Hook Urchin Rig

Go Big. Go Urchin.

The Walker's Tackle Full-Size Frog Hook Urchin Rig is handcrafted in the heart of Middle Georgia for anglers ready to upsize their Urchin game. Built on a 4/0 BKK Frog Hook, this rig is purpose-built for larger Urchin-style baits in the 20mm+ size category — delivering the hook gap, strength, and weight needed to fish big Urchin baits with confidence.

A split ring and dropshot weight are positioned along the shank of the hook to add the necessary weight for casting and depth control, keeping your big Urchin bait fishing naturally at any depth in the water column. When bass are keyed in on larger profile baits, this is the rig that gets it done.

Recommended Bait Pairings:

• Hideup Coike Fullcast
• Prickly Pear Big Tex
• Other Urchin-style baits 20mm and larger

⚠️ Not recommended for smaller Urchin options (17mm–19mm) such as the Hideup Coike 17mm or Prickly Pear 19mm — see our 17mm–19mm Frog Hook Urchin Rig for those applications.
